[Closed] NL 20 SH KJ river value bet

preflop and flop is good (of course preflop i'd keep in mind that KJ is easily dominated, not the biggest concern shorthanded though)

the flop bet is good and the check on the turn is also good (i would think i am ahead and get a value bet in on the river if a non spade and no ace is coming)... betting the turn is also good, with the disadvantage that we create a much bigger pot if he slowplayed a monster (and he has some chips to fire a bullet on the river... so all in all the check is good)

the value bet on the river is nice, as there are a couple of weaker hands with showdown value that you can beat (e.g. AQ, K10...)

Preflop: Once again, if you want to play the hand then I'd prefer to raise it up or just fold. I don't like calling in such situation.
Flop: OK.
Turn: Continue your bet because he could be drawing and will pay you off with worser hands.
River: Now, if you have made a bet on turn then you can just Check behind.

fold pre-flop, you are way behind they typical UTG raise, even if you widen his range a little to include the more marginal hands like A10os, KJs, maybe some suited connectors you are still well behind.

As played bet flop, bet turn, c/b river

bet turn>c/b turn because:-

You can get value from made hands and draws on turn, you can only get value from made hands on river

You control the pot size, if you check the turn who knows what size bet you will face on the river, maybe you will face a small bet which you can't raise so you lose value or maybe you face a big bet you don't really want to call.

If the board was dry then a c/b turn for pot control is ok. But this board has lots of gutshots, an open ender and flush draw possibilities.

Preflop is close, KJo plays terrible vs UTG raising range as cnsmf explained. You are dominated too often.

Flop: fine.

Turn: bet for value, but guess potcontrol is good too here (mp2 has a strange line, might be trapping.)

River as played: ok

I think 3-bet is fine option there- I like 3-bet a lot more than flatcall, if you thinkt hat his range is too strong for 3-bet, then better is just fold.
Bet/fold turn is better line, as csnmf said.
