PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 41.5 BB (VPIP: 40.00, PFR: 10.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 11)
MP: 104.5 BB (VPIP: 23.66, PFR: 15.41, 3Bet Preflop: 3.96, Hands: 286)
CO: 120 BB (VPIP: 19.25, PFR: 15.85, 3Bet Preflop: 3.57, Hands: 276)
BTN: 87.5 BB (VPIP: 30.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 11)
Hero (SB): 120.5 BB
BB: 37.5 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 3)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♥ Q♠

fold, fold, CO raises to 2.5 BB, BTN raises to 6 BB, Hero calls 5.5 BB, fold, CO calls 3.5 BB

Flop: (19 BB, 3 players) 3♦ 7♦ J♠
Hero bets 9 BB, CO calls 9 BB, BTN calls 9 BB

Turn: (46 BB, 3 players) 2♦
Hero bets 18 BB, fold, BTN calls 18 BB

River: (82 BB, 2 players) Q♣
Hero bets 20 BB, BTN raises to 54.5 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 34.5 BB

I pay 35 BB here. I think if I fold, i loose value. Isn't it ?

And check fold at the river seem to me too weak. Is it too agressive ?

May be an easy way is raise preflop but I don't want to go all-in with QQ. That would have happened in this case.

All the hand seem to be debatable.

Terrible play imo. Your mistake begins preflop. Easy 4bet for value here. Not good idea to cold call out of position multiway. As played donk bet OTF is fine but make it bigger . Potsize or overbet to charge draws and Jx hands That way you could move all in OTT.

I think 4 bet preflop is the easy way

In every case I loose that hand but it is not the question

It's the correct play specially when you face min 3bet from potentially fishy player (the BTN) who has so many weaker hands to overplay

I would 4bet too. Cold call a 3bet from the SB looks very suspicious.
Check/call flop and turn, evaluate river would be my line as played.

Agree with the others and i would call OTR.
Usually a big bet OTR means a really strong hand, but with topset i would call.

Villiain look fishy, I would give him more credit when 3bet and call with QQ.
Everything else looks good, easy call river, imo.

You don't have to go all in, you can fold vs 5-bet. BTN 3-b vs CO open, both don't have super strong ranges and you'll take the pot pre a lot. You can actualy do that very wide, people at 2NL are not very creative and will never notice what you are doing. I think that even 4-b with any2 might be +EV.

In general, I like to 4 bet only with QQ, KK, or AA. In this case, the bet size is only 6 BB. So I would raise it to 18 BB. However, frequently with a 4 bet opportunity, the bet size is already 12 BB or more. In that case, I would shove. Do you agree with my 4 bet range of QQ, KK, or AA? What is your 4 bet range? Would you raise to about 18 BB in this case as I would? Would you shove if the bet size was already 12 BB? If not, at what existing BB bet size would you shove?

As played the only way to win that hand is to go all-in at flop and hope vilain fold. He had AK of diamonds.

But I thank you for your advices. Next time I will 4 bet QQ preflop, 4bet/fold or 4bet/push are always possible.

Next time ask yourself different question. Instead of "how to win the hand" ask yourself "how to play the hand right". Winning or losing does not matter at all. Thats's the nature of the game. You can play the hand perfectly and lose it and you can play it really bad and win it.

1. You have only 11 hands from BTN. Villain has a 30% of VPIP, 0% of PFR and an uncomplete stack. Villain seems a fish but we can't make assumptions over such a small sample.
2. 4bet or fold. If BTN shoves I have no problem going broke vs BTN (different story if the 5bet comes from EP). Most of the time cold call a 3bet it's not a good idea.
3. You lead OOP a multiway 3bet pot and get called by CO and BTN. Then you double barrel a turn that completes FD and BTN called again. OTR you triple barrel after being called twice and get raised. I don't expect any bluff on that spot at NL2 (unless villain is a confirmed fish, wich at this point we don´t know).
I don't like how you played the hand at any street.

I agree with that.

I think 4bet preflop make the play easier and avoid many problems.

I agree with the 4 bet. But this isn't the worst call of the century (although it is pretty bad considering villian isn't full stack).

On the turn we can bet more. Villian has Jx in his range which he probably isn't folding, especially so if he holds a diamond. So we want value on this turn. Half pot is ok but we'd like an easy ship for the river.
Rather then bet small on riv i'd just go big. Just go for value vs fish.
