[PLO25] ATT9s River Blockbet Underfull

Since you checked the turn, he may have read your River bet as a weak attempt at a bluff.
Perhaps the bet would have been better played on the turn, and perhaps a bit bigger?

I'm not an expert I can just say my opinion.. I think it was played a little passive otf. BU's flop stabbing range should be very wide. A donkbet would make sense you don't want to give freecards and you get valueable FE instantly + protection, check-raising is also a very good option so you have midset in your top-value range aswell. the rest is wp, betting big+calling would be usually a mistake otr because he will have a Kxxx fullhouse with the KQ being more likely (because he checked the turn).

Do you ever bet river that size with KK/KQ/KT? If so I am fine with the bet, if not, I hate it, it looks scared and easy to fold out with a sizable raise

I wouldn't bet this size with KK I checkraise topset OTF. I think this sizing is nice with K8 KT also up to 50% potsize. do you think on plo25 people attempt to bluffraise blockbets more often?

You have a possible problem if TT is the top of your range with that line and you fold it to a weird raise.

as said the top of my range are the weakest overfulls. you would b/call here because his postflop patterns make no sense kyyberi?

Would you take that line and sizings with K8/KT?

I don't like small block bets otr cos they are often unbalanced to weak hands, and if opponent attacks that weakness it sucks. And if I balance that with making blocks with strong hands, I give up value vs a lot of players.

You need to decide there before the bet if it is to induce a raise or are you going to bet-fold.

I did. I chose to fold. wondering if this was a good plan now. I love blockbets and tbh I do not reall balance them because I dont feel like my opponents raised a lot on rivers on plo10. I feel like it begins now on plo25 or was jsut a streak of bad variance...
