I normally 3b button opens from the small blind i don't really have a flatting range, I think as played it looks fine I think Xr turn is the best play here as the Tc bring some backdoor draws, by the river only the backdoor straight draw got there clubs missed so your only really beat by sets with which you block QQ and TT maybe you could have went for a check/call OTR but like i said i think as played is fine..:f_thumbsup: :f_thumbsup:

@cms81, he is on the big blind.

PF and OTF is fine I think. I don't like the c/r OTT. Do you have some bluffs in your c/r range in this situation? If no you turn your hand face up. You will play in big pot, OOP, vs opponent that has perfect information and you don't have any information. He looks like a reg and he surely puts you on a strong hand, probably better hand than the one you actually have. OTR I don't see a reason to bet again. He will fold any hand that you beat. As played you must fold. He wont turn a hand into a bluff ever, because he knows that you have a strong hand and you are not folding.

I have no bluffs in my x/r turn range. :f_o:

rami as some reason when he says you don't enough bluffs to balance OTT.
I have no problem with check/calling once more and let him bet his overpairs, strong draws. If river comes a club mostly, you have good bluffcatcher. An ace, king, jack are card that complete draws, but mostly runner-runners.
You can definitely check/raise shove the river on a blank card and apply pressure.

I'm not sure if you shouldn't check/call the river as played. You have to call the shove once you bet. You have great odds and I believe you still have the best hand a decent amount of the times when the flush misses.

I think you can call any river bet.

For me this river is either X/C or bet/fold. I don’t think we ever win with bet/call here.

It's wired actually. We x/r OTT and now check OTR. If we are bluffing OTT we likely do it with intention to fire another OTR, if we have a hand we are not folding to a river bet. So from his point of view there is no sense for him to bet OTR with anything weaker than what we have. So we must fold, but since this is 5NL we must call.
