Hello,

No reads on the villain except that after 5 hands he is 80/0

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $2.03 (101.5 bb)
BB: $1.12 (56 bb)
UTG: $2.08 (104 bb)
MP: $2.68 (134 bb)
CO: $2.03 (101.5 bb)
BTN: $2 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J♥: J♦:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.05, Hero calls $0.04, BB raises to $0.08, BTN calls $0.03, Hero calls $0.03

Flop: ($0.24) 8♣: T♥: 6♣: (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1.04 and is all-in, BTN folds, Hero?

This is first 3bet I've seen but again, no reads really.
If I'll give him a strong range like this:
AA-TT, 88, AcKc, AcQc, KcQc
then I only have 15% equity vs this flop raise.

What do you play here?

Preflop you should 3bet from the SB vs BTN.
Squeeze size from BB indicates he is a fish, but that board is dangerous. He can represent stronger overpairs than yours, so it is a must fold without any further info. He is short-stack and he will definitely overplay draws, overcards and stuff like this, but you don't need to call here as played. It is high variance.

Not sure why you would only call against a BTN open. This is a easy 3bet to like 15-18c or the BTN player is extreme tight. As played I would fold as well, but not sure he would shove a better hand like this, but with a fish you never know.

Cheers,

I agree you should be 3bing btn opn from sb, bb sizing here is defo the sign of a fish along with the fact he is short stacked. OTF its an easy fold now for you, I tend to mainly see fish doing this the massive Ob jam with AA,KK normally just even AA as they don't know what to do and they tend to really over play their hand.

Preflop against unknown on NL2 it’s a 3bet. Postflop for 50BBs I don’t fold any more (with no overcards). I’ve seen them play AK, QJ, TX like this so many times, izbora doesn’t even have to be cc or even hh.

I have seen them shoving like this with missed hands like Ax. That said i think its a fold for me, since the villain never shown agression before (i know the sample is small)
