I think this is a tricky spot, OTR this could just be a call when the board pairs and i think some people will say its a clear fold especially with no reads on villain. I think this line looks like KT or 88 i don't think players will take this line just with trips but it could also be a low flush. Tough spot imo..

88 would be a weird hand to have in his range. That would be a weird call on the flop with only 2 outs for a set, but folding the river is for me out of the question against a LAG. Shoving seems to much with the change he has a full house, but I expect he will never fold if you shove on him if he would have trips or a lower flush and is a shove not a big mistake I think.

Cheers,

You dont have the pot odds to call the donk bet, unless you believe the villain will pay on the next streets (implied odds).
I would just call OTR, as suggested.

Maybe I’m missing value in this spot, but it looks like clear call for me. It’s so easy for him to have TT or 33 and play like this. Based on his stats I would expect him to play much more aggressive with Kx, even KT, and exactly like this with KK/TT/33, lower flushes and air. I would never fold here, but never raise either.

I think in this spot you need to make a call and pray - raising is indeed only spewing

I like your All In River raise. You obviously have an All In quality hand. Sure, Villain may have rivered a full house. But, I do not believe in playing SCARED poker. My attitude is if your All In quality hand beats my All In Quality hand, I am not going to worry about it or get upset if I lose. I seek All In opportunities and do not wish to squander them out of fear. I disagree that only hands that beat you will call your All In. That certainly is not my experience. Many players with inferior All In hands or non-All In hands call me. My Poker Tracker All In Equity is about 60%. When you also factor fold equity when I push, I am very comfortable with an aggressive All In approach.

I agree with what was said above, when shoving this river villain is folding most of his hands that you are beating and calling with stronger hands.

My goodness! Are we playing the same game? The logic is fine than Villain is only calling with stronger hands. But, this is not what I am experiencing. Most of the time, my opponents are calling with a weaker flush or three Kings. A minority of times, do I lose to a Full House. It happens. But not most of the time.

I am not sure if we are playing the same game but first you say you agree that he is calling with ONLY stronger hands, and then say that they call with weaker?
We may be playing the same game, but our logic is surely not the same.

I was not clear. The logic that Villain is only calling with stronger hands makes sense. But that is not what I am experiencing. I always shove in this scenario. Most of the time, Villain calls with weaker hands. Your logic and the logic of other commenters is not what my opponents are doing.

River is tricky. The rest seems ok.
88 would be weird in fact. Value betting Kx with that stack and fold to a raise is fishy. I would flat against passive players, put some raises against aggressive players.
Folding here is not ok, at all.
