Villain was very smart. If he had shoved the Flop or Turn, I would have folded. He read my flush draw and bled money out of me.

On the turn I'm done with the hand. You don't get the odds to draw for your flush and the impied odds aren't good ether with your <100bb starting stack.

Cheers,

that's a button limp. so, one has to wonder, what did hero gain out of the limp?

I only raise TT, JJ, QQ, KQ, and AK. I just started raising these hands because PokerTracker told me that I was having better BB/100 by raising than the last 7 months of limping these hands. PokerTracker also told me that I am having more success in limp/three betting KK and AA than by raising these hands. PokerTracker also told me that I am having more success in limp/calling the rest of my range than by raising (AXs, AJx, AQx, 22 to 99). This is a fine example as to why I limp with most hands. If I raise and win preflop, then Big Deal! I win 1.5 BB. If I raise and face a hefty 3 bet (10 or more BB), I will fold and lose my raise. If I limp and have a great draw then I may be able to better afford the call. Limping is pot control. Since I just received excellent advice that QJo is not a good starting hand, I reviewed all of my starting hands with the standard preflop raise and my unorthodox limp/call. I am not stubborn. I just changed TT, JJ, QQ, KQ, and AK. But as long as PokerTracker tells me that I am doing well, I will continue to limp most of my hands.

I am in position. If I hit my nut flush, I could very well face a bet and shove All In to win 99 big blinds. So, at the Turn I am calling 27 BB to possibly win 99 BB. This 27% implied odds seemed reasonable. Chances of winning are about 20%. Not quite enough. But not a terrible mathematical call, somewhat reasonable, and a lot of fun.

It's fine to have a limping range in any position

OH MY GOODNESS! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I receive so much criticism for limping which I appreciate. I like to hear when other players disagree. It is educational to understand various poker strategies. Nevertheless, it is comforting to hear somebody state that limping is reasonable.

you should admit, that you have found the softest 25 NL game online (congrats btw), where any remotely resonable play is +EV.

on limping:

as long as your villains keep ignoring, that your limping range is strong, all is fine. they will build the pot for you with a weaker range.
once they realise, that you are limping all your premiums, they should start overcalling and try to crack your AA for 1bb.

then limping will turn sour.

If Ignition is so weak, then why have you not established an account at that site?

Fvendal – “But limping in my opinion isn't pot control it's just plain bad poker “
I will take your advice if my win rate drops significantly. I am approaching 30,000 hands with a slightly greater than 10 bb/100 win rate. I need 100,000 hands to really evaluate my success. I could care less about stealing blinds. I am not interested in winning small preflop pots. I concentrate on winning large post flop bets. My post flop game seems to be quite strong, but it can improve. Post flop is the only part of poker that I study extensively. May I suggest that you consider that there are other successful strategies? I learn so much by listening to others. I am so grateful that I recently learned that QJo is a lousy starting hand. With an open mind, you can learn so much at this excellent forum.

What you call trolling. I call sincerely thanking a player who believes my strategy may be successful. I also emphasized that I love criticism.

one always has to keep in mind that any hand that you choose to play outside of the blinds has to be profitable (from the blinds, you "only" have to lose less than the blinds losing rate).
it does not surprise me at all that limping A6s from the button shows a profit (in other words, "is +EV"). the question one really has to answer is: is it more profitable than, as an example, minraising it?

i believe that taking 1.5 BB uncontested and denying them the opportunity to flop a pair (or better!) with some garbage hand for free is relevant. if the blinds fold a lot, then you have incentive to minraise a lot of garbage hands yourself.
