TP villain check-raises flop

I'm a fish myself. So this is my fish exploit-myself-often line.

In general, it's an easy fold. What would BB call 4BB with and check raise on K-high dry flop? It would be stronger than King one pair. Sometimes it is just King with weak kicker or totally bluff, but not that often. Just review your DB, and see the pattern yourself. In NL2, check raise is rarely a bluff, but donk bet pot might be.

If opp has less than 50BB PF, however, I would push here with top pair.

I'd fold if I know nothing about him. It's exploitable, but I wont bother much at 2NL vs 74BB stack.

not sure if it's "good", but it's 100% not correct, specially with the backdoor draws.
but is it fine against the limit's population? i don't know. you don't beat his value range... but "they never bluff here" is, generally speaking, a very strong assumption to make - that is essentially what this fold says.

I get what you are saying. But I'm not sure how to play this differently. What strategy would you recommend?

just because you call the flop it doesn't mean that you have to call off your stack later. generally speaking i'm fine with call flop, fold turn if he bets big.
maybe villain gives up, maybe a queen lands on the turn, maybe a club lands on the turn and you can call again -> sometimes they don't have the balls to jam the river, it checks down and you win, or a club lands and you stack him... i just can't see myself folding flop with this hand about ever.

It won't matter much at NL2, that's for sure, but I can't make this "exploitable" folds. I know they are wrong by nature and I will always call here. Due to low-stakes unpredictability I would say you will still find some random hand check/raising the flop just because they feel like it.
Keep in mind that low stakes is all about big pots against weak players. That's where the money comes from, period. Fighting for those precarious spots against average opponents, looking for that "extra-edge" money, is a waste of time.
Don't need to overthink. I was going to write more or less what Tom already wrote, that you can improve OTT and that you are not pot committed. Just call in position and re-evaluate OTT/OTR.
