I have here the same problem/question with https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=497752 :
when to cbet an overpair + something vs 2 to 3 villains, OTF?

I would hate giving a free card to villains that would have folded to a cbet...
On the other hand, I m aware my hand is a lot weaker here (and it still need an awesome turn to improve in case I got called)

the scenario is a whole different thing compared to your given link:

you have a gutshot and an overpair and the Jh dont bring you the nuts, seems like you have 3 nutstraightouts and 2 nutset outs. you have decent equity but will have a hard time calling a checkraise on this flop. plus you dont block the nutflushdraw.

I check behind flop because I want to realise my equity which is somewhat decent for a PLO hand. I also might come to showdown cheap and an overpair is not super strong but it has some showdown value, especially against overpairs like QQ/JJ that might be interested in seeing a cheap showdown too.

ye the 2 hands are completely different. When analyzing postflop lines try to start classify the board texture and then describe your hits:

In your link you have top-pair+13-nutwrap+bdfd on a dry-heavy flop (monster, happy to stack-off) in position.

Here you have overpair+gs on a wet-med/heavy flop (quite weak, 3way this hand is barely worth anything) in sandwiched position.

Just check the flop and try to realize Equity.
