Nah, still I wouldn't risk with my chips, I would just give up on flop and wait for better situation. Otherwise you could Call once and reevaluate turn.

i would shove this hand preflop !
you have less then 10 BB or in M fractions as i prefer it:
your M is down to 5 here and you have a weak complete from the small blind, you have a medicore hand, so shove it and see what happens.
there is 800 to be won , or 1 quarter of you hole stack !
so i feel here you should shove it preflop after his weakness.
on the flop its kinda hard, you can not just call !
because then you are totally crippled so with your chipstack , if you play a hand, play it all in because otherwise you lose too much to continue playing.
so as played i like your shove on the flop. he completed and then fires a shot at any flop. so if he is known to be agressive, chip it.
if he is a tight passive player... well then you should feel he really has the ace, perhaps wanted to trap preflop and now he bets..
but the best option would be to shove it preflop.
