hand with only 1 nut component are good to limp or call preflop because they want to play deep SPR's with their polarized flop distributions. so preflop is well played.
if you have multiple other components playing together with your hand you can 3bet preflop for example with
A♦:Q♠:T♦:7♣:
A♦:K♦:Q♠:9♣:
A♦:J♦:J♠:T♣:
with those you would have much more high-card value (means better 2pairs, trips, kickers, higher flushes...) and more connectivity as all 4 cards work together (to hit straight&-draws more frequently). this especially important when we play big pots oop.
we can just call hands oop with 1 nutted component and multple mediocre side-components like
A♦:Q♠:7♣:7♦:
A♦:J♠:6♣:5♦:
A♦:T♠:7♦:5♣:
Btw you flopped 3rd-nuts ...
No sense to be raising at any point when I cant have AAxx and CO can imo. Plus 4x is fairly unlikely for villain.
The river check might be okay as you block his straight with the Q♠: and he could be bluffing, against his
a shove might be too scary so donk-bet/call halfpot or smaller looks good to me. but on flop or turn you have the option to raise small to build the pot earlier so you can gii more easily. Indeed you wont have :Ax::Ax:xx and no range-advantage but your opponent is probably not thinking this far, he is more likely to be a level 0 mindset looking at his hand-value and play it according to what he thinks may be good, this means he will call weaker hands to see the next card not caring too much about your actual raising range, your bet-sizing or even the pot-size.
It would help me to know which stake this is and what sizings are used because I dont know what a 2€ bet means.. is it half pot or pot? how big was the pot? I dont want to calculate it everytime adding the bet-sizes from preflop to river.
Let's say he has a :Qx::Tx:xx straight otr and will calldown anything even an allin cause he is loose/weak and does not give you credit for a fullhouse.
Let's say the pot is 10bb and he bets 5bb otf, 10bb ott and check-calls 40bb pot-sized bet otr. this way you would win 55bb. but if you raise his flop-bet to 12 bb cbet the turn with 17bb halfpot (to manipulate his calling range in case he hits the river) and push it otr allin with 68bb once the stright-completing river-card arrives, this way you win 97bb. That's nearly the double and a significant difference.
You should think about balancing only if you do it against villains who you know were (multi-)barreling aggressively with more defined ranges. otherwise (or against passive opponents) you have to take the intitiative by yourself or raise it or donk-bet it to gain more value in case he wants to call his hand but would check otherwise for example top-pair hands, it is in general very important to maximize the value of your strong hands early cause you cannot overbet later on unlike in NLHE.
