Hello,

Both villains are unknown to me

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $2.01 (100.5 bb)
Hero (BB): $2 (100 bb)
UTG: $0.67 (33.5 bb)
MP: $2 (100 bb)
CO: $2.08 (104 bb)
BTN: $2 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9♠: J♠:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.05, SB calls $0.04, Hero calls $0.03

Calling this open pre as I believe I get good odds here.

Flop: ($0.15) J♣: 4♥: A♠: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

As a pre flop caller and preflop raiser is yet to act I am playing x cheke with intention to see what my opponents will do.

Turn: ($0.15) 8♣: (3 players)
SB bets $0.06, Hero calls $0.06, BTN folds

SB bet here could be to see if he can take the pot as both me and BU only checked. Also he could have a set or low :Ax:, I believe he could have a good ammount of semi-bluffs, some value hands and a couple of bluffs. Calling here as I get good pot odds, BU is yet to act and could make pot odds even better and if he folds I will be IP and decide on the river. If BU folded here and SB would check the river I believe my betting would be changing value into bluff so my intention was to check back unimproved.

River: ($0.27) 9♦: (2 players)
SB bets $0.26, Hero ?

River improves my hand but SB bets big. Here he could have a good portion of 2 pairs, some sets, sometimes :Qx: :Tx:, some :Ax:
The range that I gave him is 88,44,A5s-A2s,QTs,J9s-J8s,98s,A5o-A2o and equilab gives me such result:

Board: J♣4♥A♠ 8♣ 9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
SB     33.05%  32.20%   0.85% { 88, 44, A5s-A2s, QTs, J9s-J8s, 98s, A5o-A2o }
BB     66.95%  66.10%   0.85% { Js9s }

But if we remove a could of :Ax: offsuit from his range (that are not 2 pairs) the odds change much to his favour:

Board: J♣4♥A♠ 8♣ 9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
SB     60.94%  59.37%   1.56% { 88, 44, A5s-A2s, QTs, J9s-J8s, 98s, A4o }
BB     39.06%  37.50%   1.56% { Js9s }

Hope to get your thoughts on this spot!

Hello,

Pf either 3bet (depending on villains) or call, personally I prefer to call especially since it's NL2.
Standard check ONF, turn is call for sure. ONR it's very hard for me to fold, unless I've reads on the villain. There's some missed draws (flushes and straights) and some Ax we are beating. At NL5 and NL10 I can see some pot bet bluffs too on that spot, so I believe it will happen at NL2 as well.
So.. I'd call there most fo the times, yes.

Cheers :f_drink:

Folding is completely out of question, the doubt for me is between calling and raising.
If, and that's a quite big if, SB plays TP this way and calls a raise, raising is ok.
Without information, I would mostly call a bet of that size. It's weird when we raise and he 3bets.
Big bets usually mean a decent hand at least, I honestly see no one bluffing OTT and OTR with those sizings.
