Really horrible turn and very easy fold to the check raise on a super wet 4 to a straight board.I would check the turn as well it's such a bad card for us.And we do have a redraw to a J and better 2 pair if we check plus our T is going to be good at showdown a decent amount. We will likely face some tough river decisions with a bluff catcher once we check but i think it's better than betting such a wet turn.

Flat preflop would be totally ok too.
I would mostly check OTF. We have much stronger hands in our range to bet with (97s, TT, 88, T8s, 86s, QQ-AA, AT, KT). T9s for instance would also be better to cbet with.
Turn bet/fold as played might be ok, but could also be a check. This is definitely a fold vs a raise, you'll have some 7x yourself (A7s, K7s, Q7s) and sets, best top pairs etc.
I'm assuming you 3bet liberally vs CO which might not be the case.

Ya now that I look back it may have been better to flat call pre-flop, this guy was constantly trying to cutoff my button because I was playing tight , I thought I would try to push everyone else out of the hand and play IP against CO but we see how the hand unfolded... I agree with Reds the turn was a clear check aswell
