Villains range pre-flop is wide :33+,A2s+,K2s+,Q6s+,J7s+,T8s+,98s,87s,76s,A2o+,K7o+,Q9o+,J9o+
I typed all this into flopzilla and we are BEHIND on the flop? the hand felt to good to just check fold on the turn was that the play? or should I have 3-bet pre-flop??

check raise the flop? I have no idea what I could have done here it feels too good a hand to check call the flop and check fold the turn , probrably should have played it more aggressively and given up on turn if he didnt fold ?

3bet or flat call are both ok and either check raise or flat calling the flop are ok options i would usually just call.Villain might not bet the turn so we can look for river bluffing spots and possibly even some turn bluffing spots if villain barrels.Your also going to pick up turn equity on any A K 8 9 so calling to play the turn isn't a disaster.

If you check raise the flop here and villain shoves it puts you in a bad spot.Of either calling off with a bare draw likely a 2/1 underdog or folding a ton of equity. If you change the 4c to say the 4s i prefer check raising that board as a bluff. With two overs and the backdoor draws you can keep the pressure on the turn on any 8 9 A K and club. And if villain shoves vs our check raise here we don't mind folding that equity on the flop with the overs and backdoor draws.

Preflop, I would raise with QcJc from SB.
On flop, check-call would be my play too.
On turn, I would check-call again.
River, easy fold obv.

I think raising pre might have given you a better chance of winning this, or loose you more money. we'll never know :)

BTN is raising. I guess you mean a 3bet TurokRider from the SB.

My half-pot bet on the turn was cringe, I think that was a bleeding money move should have just check folded right? Im probrably not getting anyone to fold a pair on that board with a half pot bet oop ?
