6 handed NL5 (blinds $0.02/$0.05) - UTG raises to $0.10, fold to the HERO on the BU with KDKH, he re-raises to $0.45, SB folds, BB calls, everybody else folds. Board comes 6D KC 9H. SB checks, HERO bets 2/3 of the pot, SB calls. Turn is 4S (rainbow board, with a straight draws). Hero bets pot, SB calls again. River is QD. SB checks, HERO shoves, SB call with JTo, hitting the straigt! How some of you would play the hand and what are the mistakes?

Seems pretty standard with top set. Especially against a fish you get enough value. It's to bad he hits a straight this time.

Thanks for the reply! Do you think the HERO should not shove?

Not sure how deep you and villain are playing, but if you started with 100bb effective a shove on river isn't to crazy. Than i't most likely no over shove.
