Flop: ($5.20) (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.45, SB calls $2.45

Turn: ($10.10) (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($10.10) (2 players)
SB bets $14.36 and is all-in, Hero folds

Turn check back I did for pot control and I wanted him to try and bet the river with overpairs to flop and turn that I beat. Also was pretty worried about a c/r move as he called flop quickly.

River he insta shoved. I tanked long time on this but decided to fold. A is very much in my range so him shoving there should be 2-pair or better somehow because he knows if I have an ace I would likely call, but I can't think of what he called me pre-flop with. Maybe 88 as we are deep.

Quit my session soon after this hand as it bothered me. Am worried my laydown was wrong as why would Ax on that flop call me unless it was also a flush draw and that I should have just bet the turn.

Any thoughts?

I would still Cbet turn for value and protection. He could still have a flush draw and weaker hands in his range.

Hey cheers. Yeah was analyzing some hands and I think I don't bet turn enough in general.

Not betting the turn is a HUGE mistake. He might have an overpair, Ax, flush draw...if he had a set, he would probably check/raised the flop.
Anyway, I would fold the river against a shove. In general, when someone overbet-shoves the river at micros, it's not a bluff.
