How to play a flushdraw on the big blind being shortstacked?

You're getting pot odds of 4.3:1 and 4.2:1 odds of hitting the flush, so it is marginal on that basis.

If you think pairing the K or the 7 has any value, you can add that.
You also have a backdoor low-value straight.

Floating the flop doesn't damage your stack a lot, but you need to hit well on the turn.

I have the faint feeling that considering the stack sizes, this might be a 3Bet shove pre, but I'm no expert here.

Ok, I didn't even think of pot odds and I'm not good at it, I need to work on that, as it is now I go more on a feeling on the sizes. That's a leak I need to improve and learn more on.

I really doubt that pairing the K would have any value since he's opening utg and likely could have AK for instance or KQs, however I'm blocking one of his kings. I don't think he has hit anything on the flop but I could be wrong.
Maybe there could be some value if I paired the 7 but unsure.

On the turn I think he knows I'm going for a flushdraw or some kind of draw that's why he bet's so big and I have to fold.

As 3 bet shove preflop with K7s vs UTG raise even my short stack I would never do that since his range is so much bigger. I would shove if it was folded to me on the button or small blind.

By the way, this was the sunday storm and I ended in 2100th place out of 32 000players for 29$. Got all in AQ vs AT preflop, flop A, turn T, that's me out ♦

Will it take long to check raise all in or to at least a reasonable amount, something like 4.40bb than the whole 17.42ko

Raise flop and shove any turn would be my default line.

Defending pre-flop with K7s with a 17bb stack against a UTG player seems marginal, but post-flop you need to go for it. Otherwise you shouldn't play this hand in the first place.
