This the the first line of my signature:

[url= https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=190428&goto=lastpost ][b]Bizarre hand? Post it in Hand of the Day![/b][/url]!

Hi onetimebigtime,

what is the command so the link will be go to the last post?

For that you need the threadid.
To get that go the "Your Poker Blogs" section, find the blog you want, right-click and choose "Copy Link Location" or similar
You will get:

 https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=507028&goto=firstnew

(that's your blog by the way)

To get the last post in a thread, change "firstnew" to "lastpost"

I don't know why the URL isn't working in your posts.

it looks fine to me.

I suggest that you create a customer support ticket Follow the link then click the beside "Open a new ticket"

Ask them to activate links in your signature -- it is possible that they are blocked by default on joining -- but I am just guessing.

Cheers,

Helped me too -- I had forgotten about the options
I'll save that for future reference.
I do suggest that you use the form I gave earlier that uses the threadid and the "firstnew" directive.
That way, members returning to your blog will be able to pick up where they left off.
Otherwise, using the postid form, they always go back to the same post.

Cheers,

If i will open a blog i prefer to open to the first post to read about it.
If i like the blog i will just add them to my Favourites list. This way i will get notification every time something new apears in that blog.

But i didn't knew about "firstnew", i will keep it in mind .

Thanks :f_drink:

Yes -- if you open it for the first time, you want to go the very first post.
If you look at mine, the "Hand of the Day" link goes to the last post.
The blog link goes to the first new.
If user clicks the blog link for the first time, it goes to the first ever post.
I don't know if clearing cache and cookies would reset that.

Here is my sig as it currently exists:

[url= https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=217595&goto=firstnew ][b]Mind Games: My blog[/b][/url]

Under the signature edit box there is an options button. Click it and ensure that "Deactivate BB Code" is deselected.
