NL16 6Max, SR AQs vs squeeze monkey part 1

To be honest it's not good I think. Just 3-bet CO pre.
As played more often than not you are gonna make worse hands fold and better call. With AQ we want his money post-flop as we crush his 3-bet range. So either 4-bet light if you want to inflate the pot or flat call.

If you want to punish him 4-bet him with a suited connector hand to actually semi-bluff and not AQ. This is in general and not in this hand as you can't flat call, then 4-bet.

Also I am noticing a pattern with you that you base your play on reads you have on your opponents, but instead of adjusting your game towards them you over adjust like this. Just because villain 3-bets light does not mean that we have to shove, you are just gonna loose a stack.
To add to this you base your reads to make major adjustment like this on a too little sample size. I got games where I raise a lot on a table.. then villain spews. I raised so much cause variance was in my favor and I actually had it every time making my 3-bet % on a short sample size go really high. Villain makes a major mistake by "adjusting" to me.

Thanks. May be I won't be so drastic from now because I'm bound to be reverse punished instead in future. I'll consider myself lucky that I won all the pots while I did this and re-adjust to a reasonable level except against fish.

Agree with Dragar on all above, I would as well 3 Bet him Pre-Flop, and is he shoves you can still call him if you want. But again I'm just a Fish so far...

Yeah, I think he is a bad reg though. I will continue to review his hands.
