BU is reg. I expect BU to checkback lots of overpairs without extra equity, weak straightdraws, backdoor type of holdings. I really would like to lead the turn but on the other hand I am somewhat clueless if villain decides to raise because we might have to give up decent SDV/equity so I can imagine this mediocre 2pair with weak oesd draw might x/call the turn.

If you bet, do you bet 1/2 pot to give overpairs a reason to peal once or do you pot trying to get it in on good rivers?

such thoughts should not prevent you from betting. once he raises we should reevaluate. it´s not like he is raising this specific turncard more often than he would fold or call. and by raising his range should be fairly strong like top2-pair+ or strong dominating draws where we dont mind folding cause we´d be crushed against such a range. checking one more streets looks too weak for me and our hand lacks a little in strength and playability so leading seems to be the best play here.

bet pot since it is the standard play with range advantage and we are in urge to protect our hand. we dont want overpairs to peel, we want villain to fold his equity now.

+1 to Pot. The hands that would raise you there are KJxx and KKxx, or AK+nfd. You are bloking all his Kxxx hands so fearing raise is seeing boogies all over the place.
