K8 on BTN. Not the worst hand to steal the blinds. Get a called. Hit Two pair OTF. CB, called by villain. So I put him on AX to call that CB. Turn is a flush. Kind of scary for me. that is why I slow down. OTR, it was a fold. Not sure why I called, maybe because it was silly little bet. But, the issue is, once the board is flushy, I slow down a lot. Not sure what is the percentage of time that someone hits his flush but that slow me down. what is your thought process when the board is flushy and you want to find the range of the opponent?
Do you think CB OTT could push him away? he had 75 fold to turn cbet but that would not push him out with his AX hand. if turn was not heart, I would shove.

Agree with above we can bet turn for value and check back rivers unimproved.Betting the turn allows you to gain value from Ax and you keep control of the pot on the river.

River is a clear call.

On the Turn when the flush completes, and you already bombed the pot on the Flop, you do not have more than 1.5 streets of value unless he's really bad. 1.5 streets = 2 50% pot bets, or 1 67% pot bet + 1 33% pot bet.

Vs an inferior opponent i'll probably bet on the smaller side for two streets. Vs a stronger opponent i may only have 1 street of value so I would often check Turn to call or bet river.
