I'm currently on the lookout for someone willing to make/teach a poker class for this nonprofit org I'm with. I personally don't know much about poker strategy, but this course would hopefully teach complete novices (mostly high school aged students) at the game basic poker theory and get them much better at the game than they normally would be.
With that said, this work will be 100% volunteer work and will be unpaid.
Thanks for your time!
Hi BTFive,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com!
Are you the teacher?
What location are you in?
May we assume that all the students speak and understand English fluently?
Bear in mind that curriculum development is a massive undertaking, so asking for this without some form of compensation Is a "big ask"
How many hours worth of material would you require?
Would the material -- or should the material -- involve mathematics to any significant degree?
If you are the teacher it should be quite possible to do this yourself.
Cheers,
VS
