So, I have been playing fixed limit only for about 10 years. This year I have played 122k hands at .5/1 - 2/4. am $1k down on pokertracker and have paid 4k in rake.

I want to add no limit to the games I play.

Where to start? What coaching vids? Books? What sort of no limit game to start at?

Any advice welcome

Hi Clff79,
I don't know of any specific articles or videos that specifically address the transition from FL to NL.

From my own experience going from FL 5-Card Draw to NL the following might help:
:diamond:  There is a tendency to overvalue hands that were playable in FL that aren't quite so playable in NL
:diamond:  NL gives you much better implied odds. It is important to take advantage of them when they're in your favour, and beware of "reverse implied odds" where you give your opponent too good a price to call with draws.

All the best,
VS

Thanks. Which beginner vids on here would you recommend? Which books?

All videos by w34z3l are a very good start.

No-Limit Beginner's Course 2017 - Getting started - Preflop (1) by confidant.

This is the sort of thing I am looking for, is it still relevant to todays games? Is there anything better out there?

Hi Clff79,
It is almost certainly still relevant -- though I haven't reviewed that course in a while.

I need to though: I added some NLHE to my 888 bankroll challenge and got smacked hard.

I'm going to take a look at it.
