His line looks really strong , he calls the flop and raises the turn vs 2 so you are probably behind so i would just call down and hope he is overplaying a single ace (also there arent alot of worse Ax hands in his range from MP1 that u beat if he's reasonable enough).

hi kipperkalle
i agree with gape. calldown without any special reads. check/call flop, check/raise turn against 2 players is a pretty strong line

Thank you! He had pocket 9s, so I lost.

All of my big losses are with AK, AQ, QQ type of hands. I'm probably overplaying them a little.

Any comments why he check/called with trips?

Well in his eyes he probably didnt want to "scare" you two out of the hand or maybe tried to "hide" his hand strenght . He might thought he gets the best value with his C/C, C/R line but its a pretty bad play as he is out of pos. and he cant be sure that someone will bet on turn again plus he's giving good odds to drawing hands that way.

Who knows :P

This was something I couldn't figure if its a good play or not. I have had instance where I have been sucked into the game and overplayed top pair/overpair in similar situations.
