I'm not qualified to comment on either analysis, except to say that using GTO ranges only works if other players are playing similar ranges.
I think it is safe to say that Mr JJ was expecting to get it in by the river vs this player

Probably should move to Omaha section.

I have used to call solver strategy as defense and exploiting strategy as offense. You need both and you need to know when to use either one. Jnandez approaches heavily from solver strategy, as seen here. We should use solver strategy to defend ourselves versus good players. Versus VPIP 82 you should just throw solver away and play for maximum exploitation.

Probably that's why Jnandez never continued his challenge at small stakes. Solver strategy is far from optimal, when opponents are not playing solver strategy.

Eelis has made decent $$$ over his career, and definitely knows how to make money from target players. :)
