Hello all,
I've had a real, rollercoaster over the last few years.
Battling an alcohol addiction and starting a business 3 years ago and isolating myself entirely.
Today, I sit here abstinent, and have re-commenced playing Poker.
I played 10 years ago, downloaded Holdem Manager and paid for membership to some training sites etc. Including this one a long tome ago.
This a fresh start, and I'm excited to put my energy into this. I am quite studious, and will keep posting and engaging. It's gonna be a journey.
I'm on a training site at the minute with a pro. He's put together a training video series which I am part way through.
I started on Pokerstars last night playing $3.50 and $4.50 games, (45-180mans). I'm $50 dollars down and was all 'fingers and thumbs'. I got myself into some great positions in the tourneys but Donked my chips off. I need to slow it down!
Great to be part of the community. I've 'marked' the key hands that I went out wigth. So wasteful 3 of them. I'm well out fo practice and my standard before wasn't great anyway. That said, let's see how I get on!
I'm going to post my journey on here including on the hand review's now.
Glad to be here!!!!
