KK LJ 4bet pot (sizing and Flopplay

I've read a few times that 2.5x 4bet is the average sizing, I think there is no wrong move here shove or check raise all in if perfect, yes pot committed and calling you off with almost 100% of his hands, maybe check raise AI and give him chance to throw in his money when he has nothing.

Either way I think you played great I might start upping my 4bets to this size 😂

Typical 4b sizing is 20-26bb. You are a little deeper and I think you can get away with raising bigger with your value hands at nl2.
Shipping flop is fine 👍

pre 2,5x as said might be better. postflop shove doesn't give him the chance to make any kind of mistake (except bad call obv). I bet(/call obv) 1/3 pot and shove turn.

2 things come to mind for me:
:diamond:The effective stack is a pot-size bet, so your all-in makes sense especially on such a wet board. If it was a dryer board, you might want to bet 1/3 pot or maybe even check-raise occasionally, but I think that just shoving is probably still best play.
:diamond:When you 4-bet and he calls pre-flop, your ranges seem pretty well defined. I'd be guessing JJ+, AK (maybe AQs) for villain. On this flop with that range, he's not giving it up so just get it in.

I am pretty suprised at the 2,5x for 4bet size, thou. I thoght my 4bet should be even bigger then 33BB because of the SB coldcall.
As played villians potodds preflop are 1:2 [call 25BB more for 50BB pot)... he is in position. Any Suited Connector has a mathimatical call, no? ... and then there would be the SB overcaller again.
Why do we 4bet smaller (2,5x to 3x)?

thats a good question, ive only read that 2.5bb is a standard 4bet size, if you think about it a little bit more, yes people have good odds to call, however, people are not tat great at post flop play in 4bet pots and are going to make many mistakes, yes maybe they might hit a flush or straight draw sometimes, there not goint to be getting the correct odds, and be in a push or fold sinario, also you give other hands you dominate like suied broadway a chance to call, beliving they have pot odds when they dont since they almost aways need to hit 2 pair or an ace witch is unlikley, and again if they catch tptk with say AQ then again there more then likley to make mistakes, a good player would usualy shove your 4bet keep that in mind

33bb is fine.
just think standard is 20-26, long as you add at least the 3b amount (20-26+8bb, 28-34bb)

I would most likely 4bet a little bit more to like 36 bb with in mind you don't need to ver bet shove against the shortest stack in this hand and out of position I would 4bet more as well.

A top aggressive pro may 3bet 4% in UTG+1 vs UTG. But let's be realistic here - People at NL2 probably 3bet only 1% here in these positions. I did the analysis on the population in 2014 for this spot, maybe the games have changed in the past 7 years but I really doubt it for NL2.

Against a 1% range (KK+), 4betting KK would be silly. And the truth of the matter is you are never too far ahead (57% equity) if your opponent jams AK, QQ+. I strongly recommend calling the 3bet here if you're up against a single 3bettor.

When there's a cold-caller in the SB, you are a lot more incentivized to 4bet squeeze. Standard 4bet size would be 2.2-2.5X vs a single player, and I would squeeze to 3X against 2 players.
