good, did I do well to check this flop in limped pot? this does not have very good equity. The opponent most likely could also have something for this flop that is very much within the bb vs Sb check range. I'm in doubt if I would bet 1/3 pot or check

It will be tough to bet 1/3 pot in a limped pot 
You need to bet at least a big blind and that's now already 50% pot.
With middle pair and the flush draw I wouldn't mind the bet. I expect you have a lot fold equity against villains checking range and even if villain makes a call you can still hit a flush to win the hand.

Flop is very good for BB seeing free flop. He can have literally any two pair and straight. Maybe some sets also. Plus lot of pair+draw hands. So I would like to x-c the flop. No need to x-r really as we have showdown value and most better hands wont fold. Some weaker might bet-call but unimproved we will then be in tough spot on turn in bloated pot.
