According to the beluga principle check/min-raise is very often the nuts.
Any exception here?

you could argue about that. still you make yourself very exploitable betting all the good stuff and folding to minraises.

i very much prefer the XC line w/o very reliable reads.

Against a loose passive fish I would play the hand the same. It could be expoitable indeed, but on NL2 I don't expect this would be to bad. Most villains on NL2 doesn't adapt to this.
