In the hand I knew I was behind to sets but I was also thinking about how many possible off-suited hands with a good heart he may do this with as it seems at 2nl many players overplay their hands, making it difficult to really know if they have nut hand or over-played hand.

I think you're own comment is already good. Villain should only shove with a full house or quads in a spot like this, but on NL2 you can expect anything and that makes it tough to fold the ace high flush.

How often can we discount the best made hands from BTN's range on the turn when he flats the tiny turn bet ? I think he should be raising his two-pairs and sets for value and protection on the turn against NFD's, Qx, OESD's and Gut-shots. What do others think?

can we realistically keep those hands in his range and not bet the river for value ?

the biggest mistake was calling the river shove but I have a hard time giving him boats often on the river when he flats a tiny bet on the turn. But I guess V shouldn't really have many 2nd or 3rd NFD unless he is c-betting the flop pretty wide in a multi-way pot and when I call turn and lead river I look like I could very well have the NFD so when he raises I guess it is usually going to be the nuts which is a boat now

ouch. you need to fold the flop i think. and i would fold preflop even.

as played i think his checkraise on River does look super strong. if you think he is capable of doing that with just a bluff, you have to call.

You made 3 mistakes
1. Preflop its snap fold - check ranges on gtowizard or snowie. Indeed odds are not bad, but you will pay back with interest postflop due to huge domination problem
2.On flop its fold or maybe sometimes squeeze. You dont have odds to chase backdoor flushdraw on one card(so without implied odds)
3.On river your thought process is wrong. Its opposite -many players are scared to raise flashed board with set so he may end calling all of them - especially as there is also straight possible. Also - notice that he doesnt have any natural bluffs there. You would need to know that BTN is whale with balls big enough to shove there Kh/Qh.

Thanks for the assessment. I failed to mention the guy to my immediate right was a super fish, passive calling station so I figured I could play a hand IP versus him, same reason I called flop I figured I had good implied odds since he was calling a ton, if I do turn an ace,3 or heart I may be in good shape. On the river I didn’t expect villain to have any bluffs, people do sometimes overplay hands especially at the lowest stakes but I agree in hindsight it is a bit of a stretch for him to raise river with 2nd flush

It doesnt matter. You think that you have implied odds against fish but failed to realize that you have huge reverse implied odds against better Ax in both your opponents ranges. Its way better to call there hand like 42s than A3o. Better odds preflop are deceptive because you share pot not with one but two players and many borderline or slightly winning defends from BB are now folds. Not only you have significantly less equity(from ~48% to ~30%) but also your equity realization is lower. For example GTOWizard defends 43,8% hands from BB against BU steal including 30% in calling range. When we add SB call then it defends only 36% and less than 21% as call. This pattern is true also for other situations with one player cold calling before BB.
