River all in overplayed?

It all depends on stats and reads you have on the villain in this hand, but overall I don't think it's bad to stack off against a short stack on the river.

I think a check behind or 1/4 bet is an option here?

All depends on reads and how we perceive the big donk bet. If we think his donk bet is strong I might check turn because he could have turned a boat and started slowplaying

I think you played this great. We can expect fishy short stacks to stack with Ax here, if we're beat it's whatever.
