1st Hand at this table

CO has a 30BB stack, so pretty much figure they aren't exactly a poker adept

Pacific Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 151.8 BB
MP: 229.2 BB
CO: 30.8 BB
BTN: 176 BB
SB: 69 BB
Hero (BB): 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q♦:T♠:

fold, fold, CO calls 1 BB, fold, fold, Hero checks ???Isolate with this?

Flop: (2.4 BB, 2 players) J♣:5♦:T♣:
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: (2.4 BB, 2 players) 3♥:
Hero bets 1.4 BB, CO calls 1.4 BB Since opponent checked back the flop ( I would have floated had CO bet) I thought I would put in a bet to try to just take it right now

River: (5.2 BB, 2 players) K♥:
Hero checks, CO bets 7.4 BB, Hero ??? I originally thought I would try for a blocking bet -- as in bet/fold, but decided on check/call since CO has shown little interest so far.

Problem is, the call is for 40% more than the pot.

Pre-flop you don't need to isolate against the limper with in mind everyone else folding already. Building a pot out of position with a marginal hand seems a bad idea with in mind villain would call a lot if you raise pre-flop.

Until the river you're play seems standard. A thin value bet on the river is close, but if you would do it you need to fold against a raise. Now I would fold on the over bet as well against a unknown.
