Are small donks usually weak?

If I have any part of the flop I will raise a small donk.
If the raise gets called I'll look to see an equity increase on later streets before deciding to continue

Donk leading small is most of the time a weak made hand or a draw. Problem is that most villains don't fold if you would raise on NL2 and is calling flop and folding turn standard against a unknown.

From my experience on NL2 raising small donk worked very well. Most of the time the villain folded. I don't continue doing it at NL5 it doesn't work well there.

My experience also.
At NL 5 I would (almost) never fold to one if I had any part of the flop.
I would raise at any stakes with things like combo draws, nut flush or straight draw and so on.

Beyond NL 5 I don't have enough experience.

It depends on the type of player. Some players see 2 cards to a flush and donk out in fear of being drawn out. Sometimes its marginal hand, sometimes its not. I raise most donks (small or other wise), but again it depends on my hand and opponent. In this case I would not raise here and just fold. My note on this type of player would be BS=HS, bet sizing = hand strength.
