I like my play preflop and post flop but...
Was I supposed to shove the turn?

I think you played the hand well.
The flop lead is weird, especially on this board. I think (although I am not sure) that you should have a polarized raising range OTF. Which means you raise with some semi-bluffs and the best value hands where 2pair is probably on the bottom of.
Turn card is not so nice because it can help Villain with 6x and KK+ (the latter is probably rare).
River is probably a fold if Villain would jam.
Btw. I would suggest to not post results even though I understand why you did this. But it still causes a confirmation bias for the reviewers. You want reviews to be as objective as possible.

Oh, yes, I edited into spoiler.

Pre-flop is close to open QJo from UTG, but the rest of the hand seems standard. On the turn I would consider shoving for value and protection, because 6x and JJ+ seems unlikely in villains range based on the pre-flop and post-flop action so far. Decent change villain is on a draw or top pair kind of hand.

Cheers,

+1.

6 is very unlikely to help villain. Perhaps some flush draws might improve but those should be rare from SB I would imagine.

That is a problem, I was afraid he had 6. That prevented me from raising a turn, because of my previous experience.

Versus BB I would definitely not raise in this spot.

Good point, there is actually a big difference between SB and BB range. I should keep it in mind.

IMO SB can have: 2x 76s, 2x 65s, 2x A6s, 1x 66, maybe sometimes 2x K6s, or some offsuited A6, 76 combos, or 86s...
On the other hand you are the expert ghaleon

I think this is your only mistake in the hand. Both calling and raising are correct in this situation imo.
But when you go I saw the 6 and from past experience (beats) I decided to call instead (out of fear), I think your reason for calling then is wrong. I've had to hammer it into my head to stop and think before I click buttons.
Otherwise nh. :appl:
