Tough to Decide

Go for it, or induce a bluff

PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $4.38
SB: $5.02
Hero (BB): $10.00
UTG: $7.77
MP: $7.07
CO: $8.03

SB posts SB $0.02, Hero posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has A♣:A♠:

fold, fold, CO raises to $0.12, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.34, CO calls $0.22

Flop: ($0.70, 2 players) A♦:T♣:9♦:
Hero bets $0.12, CO calls $0.12

Turn: ($0.94, 2 players) T♠:
Hero checks, CO bets $0.68, Hero calls $0.68

River: ($2.30, 2 players) 4♦:
Hero bets $2.27, fold When he bet the turn, I figured he might have a strong Ace, or maybe even a Ten or (hope-hope) AT
As soon as I hit the button I thought — Oh please God, not TT

So which is it?
:diamond:  ? Shove OK
:diamond:  ? Induce — if so, how?

Sizing on the flop is really small I think. I would make it at least 1/3 pot against a unknown. Turn I would Cbet again around half pot for value and the same plan on the river as well. If you are check/call the turn I would go for a check/shove on the river. Decent change villain will fire again on the river.

Cheers,

That is weird, because post-flop I don't have a button to bet that small — I have 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and pot as my choices.

When I see someone bet a flop that small I always think they got QQ or KK :f_biggrin:
It's hard to get paid on that river by a T or even a A. I would bet, but something like quarter pot or round there, I don't know if that will induce a raise or get villain to call with worse. I think your flop bet and turn check induced his bet already.
