I like my play till the river. I didn't know which is better - x/c or blocker bet/fold? I guess blocker bet.
Please what are your thoughts on the whole hand?

I would x-c both flop and turn. When you pot turn it would seem to me you are polarising your range into straight or semibluff in villain shoes. Maybe some sets. So we are pretty low in our range here on river probably. We do have diamond to block flush so could be reasonable bluff catch. Problem is that spade combos villain could have has some showdown value lot of time. Some Axss possible.

Maybe fine x-c of we assume villain to not value bet Q or K high straights. Anyway block bet doesn't make sense as getting value should be really tough.

I think this flop hits the BTN's calling range pretty well. He can have all the sets and Q9s same as us. I would XC and try to keep the pot small against an unknown

Against a unknown I would slow down the turn with any 9 that could have a straight and you have decent showdown value. I expect villain isn't folding better and is tough to get value.

River is a fold or you expect villain can change a missed draw in to a bluff.

Difficult river. I'm for both check calling and check folding. Wouldn't a str8 raise that turn now that the board is alot more moist? Unless he was drawing to a str8 + backdoor diamond flush on the flop and it makes sense not to raise now and let you keep betting and hope the river bricks so you can bet again? There are some 2 pair combos that he can have as well as some top pair. This is the kinda call I make and say "Don't have A9 of spades" :ayfkm:
