BB is a bit of a maniac, high VPIP & PFR and aggro post-flop

A couple of hands previously BB had blown me off the pot on the flop with an overbet check/raise

When no-one bets the Ace on the turn, I got ready to bluff-catch OTR, but ended up checking.
Too πŸ”?

Another odd thing I noticed: Whenever I had a 150 BB+ stack, players seemed to fold more often.
Is this a normal tendency?

PokerStars - $1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (CO): $182.78
BTN: $51.52
SB: $115.19
BB: $75.92
UTG: $116.85

SB posts SB $0.50, BB posts BB $1.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $1.50) Hero has 8♦:8♥:

fold, Hero raises to $2.50, BTN calls $2.50, SB calls $2.00, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($10.00, 4 players) T♥:K♠:K♥:
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($10.00, 4 players) A♦:
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($10.00, 4 players) 5♠:
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks <<< as you can see, I just checked it down.

Seems well played in a 4 way pot. It's tough to get value or a better hand to fold on every street and you have some showdown value.

Cheers,
