Hi all,
I'm a poker player and final year undergraduate at a British University. I am writing my sociology dissertation on how profitable poker players experience time loss to the game, and I am looking to recruit one more interviewee!
In order to participate, it doesn't matter whether you're making tiny amounts at the microstakes, or are a wildly successful professional - all that matters is that you're profitable.
The interview would be over Zoom. It will probably last around 40 minutes, though there's some flexibility there. Interviews will be confidential (names and identifying details will be changed) - we'll discuss that in more detail if you express an interest. And it's probably worth noting that I'm doing sociology - not psychology - so I'm more interested in the broader social picture than psychoanalysis!
If you think you might be willing to volunteer, DM me and we can talk. I will be happy to answer any questions ![]()
Cheers
