I don't normally make this play, but after the turn goes check/check I can't see Jacks, Tens or overpairs being in opponents range

What do you think?

PokerStars, 6+ Hold'em No Limit - Button Blind $0.05 ($0.05 ante) - 5 players

UTG: $9.72 (194 bb)
MP (Hero): $9.34 (187 bb)
CO: $13.51 (270 bb)
BU: $5.33 (107 bb)
BB: $3.59 (72 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP with 8♠ 8♦
1 fold, BB checks, Hero calls $0.05, 1 fold, BTN checks

Flop: ($0.40) J♣ T♦ T♥ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.13, BU folds, BB calls $0.13

Turn: ($0.66) 6♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($0.66) J♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.22, BB folds

Total pot: $0.66 (Rake: $0.03)
MP (Hero) wins $0.63

Well played imo. These counterfeited pockets make very good bluff candidates and we dont need to go big. Only downside in using 88 is blocking 89 so bit smaller pocket would be better one. Tx are unlikely but Jx and Ax are most likely candidates that wont fold. Still there are enough stuff to attack with small sizing as we do lose to many busted straight draw as well.

If we had Jx it would also make sense to use this same sizing.

Pre-flop I would raise to at least 25c with the 5c antes in play and the extra dead blind in it. I don't like limping and this way you keep the initiative during the hand.

Do not raise PF :)

Why are you betting the flop?

I didn't — although I have seen others jam these from MP

I frequently get folds betting on paired boards.

I know but keep limping. Nu value in raising or shoving.

Yes but you should do it with hands that have more equity.

Remember 2 of the most important rules in SD are:

 TPTK is not very good, def never stack off with it
 You don't need to bluff (like in NL) because you will get so many hands that have 40% equity or more
