PLO50 AK97ds 3bet pot, call river stab with two pair on scary board?

Looks like everyone has missed this hand

With a hand like this I would most likely just call the pot size raise in position.
I expect this hand has decent playabillity post-flop and no need to blow up the pot I think.

Post-flop you could bluff cBet, but I would only do this if villian will fold a lot.
On the river you beat only a bluff and tought to call with only a 1 pair hand.

No this hand Ace and King both suited and the 97 mid-high 2-card connector with only 1 gap is a must-reraise from the button. I think calling preflop is weak.

I agree to the flop check, not much going on here in terms of starting-hand-flop-interaction.

I think we can bet the turn for protection since it´s so draw-heavy. But check-back ott is fine without any support from side-cards on a super-wet board I guess. But once we check-back we should be careful calling river stabs.

Tricky. Texture shifts in PLO should not be met unprepared so we gotta fold´em.

I dont block flush but I do block 7T.

Blocking T7 is not enough imo. Not blocking flush is an argument to fold.

I can definitely have some flushes in my range.

Supposed villain is accounting for our perceived range, it´s another argument for foldin.

I know it´s a little salty checking a good hand that might could have bet earlier on, but as you said we do have other hands for the flush runouts so no problem letting go this one imo..
