I think HU it´s a clear shove with 2-pair (against a range close to 100% AAxx, but with 3 players I don´t how likely it is that a 3rd player could call and get us in bad shape or if we should still go for FE and shove anyways.

Once again I would fold preflop all day long. Cold calling 3bets OOP is very tough way to show profit even with premium hands. This hand is not premium. Also it doesnt really help that UTG is going to 4bet decent amount of time. This play to me looks like "lets hope both have AA" and thats is not great when we have not invested practically anything at this point. If we had like JT98ds it would probably be fine to call but even then its not awesome spot. I personally happily overfold these spots as its rarely much of mistake and cuts very variance heavy spots.

Not sure about flop. This kind of show why this hand is not that great. When we flop two pairs it often doesnt come with support. Flop hits very nicely for CO range as well. UTG mainly has AA. One option is to check and fold if both shove. Though I think it will very often go UTG shove, CO call. We just shouldnt be in this spot with hand like this.

fold preflop. coldcalling three bets is a thing when rake becomes super low, not low/midstakes

Haha yes okay okay. I will try harder to fold more pre. My preflop game beside the RFI is too loose I know.

Yeah that usually works fine. But it´s quite passive. I had the same thoughts about my cold-call vs 3bet. I will abstain from it, but since they are really way too AAxx heavy (sometimes AKK, KKxx) hands like J♥:9♣:8♥:7♣: perform very good in 3-way allins unless they are very laggy.

Thats actually something I didnt remember to comment. But CO 3bet is really loose one with rainbow hand especially and no A. So I would not define him tight or potentially he just way overvalue this type of hand.

other way around would be nice: its better to steal more than less. the whole game is basically about stealing blinds. if you think about that all the spots where somebody entered before you become a little bit less attractive. but dont mind me, Im still 3betting too much from SB :(

Yes but they were tight which means VPIP below 20. Such players usually 3-bet around 3-5%. As I mentioned they overweight KKxx type of hands and do not balance accordingly. They also have problems folding their overpairs on board that do not favour overpairs anymore.

Cold calling 3bet is in general impossible to make +EV.

We have 3 ways to gain edge (=creating EV) in a single hand:

- Range
- Position
- Skill

When cold calling 3bets, none of those are true as it will be low SPR situation where hero's skill edge doesn't really affect the outcome. It's just about who hits the flop and how.

I doubt that you can gain a lot of edge on skill of understanding if your hand hits the flop or not.

You would be wondering what some people considering a "hit".
