Has someone ever been asked to send a pic of him holding his ID ? What is this request? Are they the police? Do they want my fingerprints?

Basically I do not play on sites I don't trust, and if PokerStrategy.com has affiliated with a poker room, it has been verified. Note that this isn't permanent — PokerStrategy.com has dropped affiliation in the past with rooms that failed to meet their obligations.

I have been asked several times for a picture of myself holding my ID. I have always sent it, and have so far always had it accepted. I keep such a picture on my computer for the next time I'm asked.

Before you withdraw money from a poker site, international money-laundering rules require the poker room to verify the identity of the person to whom they are sending that money. The catch is that they will let you deposit, but they must verify your identity — including your residence address — before they can let you withdraw. Also, you must wager your deposited amount a specified number of times before you can withdraw anything.

I hope that you can get this sorted out. Things like this are so annoying...

It was very clear. It was taken with a new phone...
Certainly I got the answer that the picture isn't clear.
After reviewing many forums and reviews, I saw that this room isn't trustworth. Many players and reviews said that it is super hard to withdraw money. I will keep them my money. They seem to be happy to steal it, and will play on the rooms I usually play at.
