Facing raise on paired river with nut flush

OTR i see two options: B/F w small sizing, or X/C. i prefer the latter, as i like to realize my equity.

i do not like your flop play though. you pick a small size there, indicating that you c-bet w high frequency.

you do not have a lot of FE here on a mono board w 2 villains.

so you either check range, or bet big w a small part of your range.

Agree with your first point. I think he checks behind too much and wanted to get value but I don’t mind x/c.

Disagree with your flop point though, apart from a small flush, bombing that flop doesn’t really with anything. Weaker value hands like sets / 2 pair, smaller is better for pot control. With top of my range, I want to keep weaker hands in. Checking that flop as the pre flop raiser with my range seems passive and weak. I’m not doing this with air but I’d play with the same lone Ad, overpairs, 1 pair with a diamond etc. Checking here seems pretty nuts to be but interested to hear your thoughts

the flop is good for your hand, but bad for your range.

when a board is bad for your range, you usually have to check. but you can expect a lot of action anyway, as villains also know, that the board is bad for you. so they will attack you here by betting and even multi barreling over several streets.

so checking here should not lose you any value at all. quite the contrary.

Any info on the villain in this hand would be nice, but read less I don't think you're line is to bad. River min raise is suspicious, but tough to fold against a min raise. In the end villain missed value with his/her play. If villain shoves you would call as well.

Yes I agree, he should have shoved, this looks stronger than a shove but very hard to fold with the odds just incase he’s overplaying a hand a beat. I don’t need to be good very often for it to be profitable

That's to bad, but even than you could have reads on villains, but it's tougher on a phone for sure and with ZOOM poker.

If villain doesn't push and pot bet or even smaller, the call is easier
The same with the nut flush it is difficult to leave considering that sets tend to raise before

It's really villian depended. You can also miss value with the flush if you check the river.
Check/callings seems passive as well. This seems like a cooler spot on the river I rhink.
