I'll keep my eye open for AK situations.
To answer the title question, though, it depends on position, who is in that position, and how many in the hand.

For example:
A tight UTG and you're behind
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    50.79%  44.28%   6.51% { 66+, AJs+, AQo+ }
BU     49.21%  42.70%   6.51% { AKs, AKo }

A loose SB and you're ahead:
       Equity     Win     Tie
BU     64.19%  62.58%   1.61% { AKs, AKo }
SB     35.81%  34.20%   1.61% { 22+, A2s+, K7s+, Q7s+, J7s+, T8s+, 97s+, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s, A2o+, K8o+, Q8o+, J8o+, T8o+, 97o+, 87o, 76o, 65o, 54o }

Look What I Found

Elsewhere we talked about SplitSuit's videos, and I found this
Note that I am not recommending it, since I've never read it — or even looked at it — but it fits the topic...

I just noticed that the second author is none other than "W34Z3L" who is — or was — a PokerStrategy.com coach. I might even get myself a copy.

Yes I've seen this at the end of some of his videos, I like that someone has actually tackled the subject, because AK really falls into the love it or hate it category.

This hand surprised me when it went down. UTG was playing 19/8 and CO was playing 13/8 both over 39 hands and BB 48/6 over 31 hands, small sample I know. GGPs hud stats don't seem to match up with HEMs, at the time both UTG and CO were shown as much tighter.

Anyone else push in this spot?

GGPoker shows you stats of the player — even including hands where you did not see the player. HEM cannot. Even so, I take GGPoker's "HUD" with a grain or two of salt.

I think 4Bet ISO shoving w/ AK is well within the standard playbook

I never know what to do when I miss OOP. With the flop this low, higher pp like 88-JJ won't fold. So, I am only targeting villains over cards like mine. Always cbet flop or sometimes check and cbet turn on "safe card". 6 seems safe right as villain won't have 66 or 67s here and only cards with a spade will continue, what's ahead of me should raise or just call to keep my bluffs in?

Villain plays 19/11 and I have marked as a "nit fish"

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.05) Hero has A♦: K♥:
fold, CO checks, BTN raises to $0.12, Hero raises to $0.32, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.68, 2 players) 2♠: 4♠: 2♦:

Hero?

I will abstract the range vs range equation, as I think that's a "no man's flop" and it is NL2.

Is villain multi-tabling?
If he isn't, villains with that VPIP find it hard to fold any hand. As they play few hands, they like to play them all the way.
Also, if he is multitabling, the likelywood of him clicking is higher and he can fold more often to a 1/2 - 3/4 FCbet, as he could be playing a pocket on set-minning and playing fit/fold.

Is villain likely to be aware of how you play?
Relates with the above, but also includes possibility that he's also using a HUD.
If villain can be aware of your CBet patterns, you may want to act accordingly.

Do you have villain fold stats in your HUD?
If he has high fold to FCbet, is a bet, if he floats regularly, give it away.

Is villain capable of betting worst hands?
If he doesn't bluff, just check it down/fold, as you'r ahead of his broadways (about half his call range).

P.S. There's no check flop and bet turn on that board, imo. Either Cbet flop and check after. Or check flop and fold to all non A/K cards, at most, bet some Q or J, but not on a card out of your range, specially 3rd suited. Is transparent it didn't improve your hand.
