Wow! That takes me back!
When Short-Stack Strategy became impossible, I tried mid-stack, but it seemed I was being exploited off the table.

If you want the strategy articles, they are all here:
https://www.pokerstrategy.com/strategy/sss/

The advanced ones are for "gold" level, though.
If you are interested in levelling up, you could earn the points required, or if you so desire you can purchase the points for your desired status here:
https://www.pokerstrategy.com/buy-points/

Once you have the status you desire, you can review all videos and read all articles for the length of time you purchase.
Once your time at the higher level has expired, you will drop down to bronze and no further.

All the best,
VS

Note: the package begins routinely on the first day of the next month. You'll also receive the status you've earned for the current month. If you purchase a 1-month Gold package on 2nd January, you have the Gold status for February. You'll also receive points directly and keep Gold status for the remainder of January.

The above is from the How-To page. Does this mean that If I pay today then ill get access on the 1st of February?

If you would buy a gold status package for a month now you will be gold right away untill 28th of February.
If you would do it on the 1st of February you're status will be gold untill the end of March.

Cheers,

MSS involved narrow ranges, and once the perceptive player realized what I was doing, they just 3Bet shoved pretty much any time I raised. My perception was that the MSS ranges worked against players that weren't paying close attention, or against players that didn't know about MSS/SSS strategies themselves.

Part of the problem is that when you sit down with a mid stack, you're either an inexperienced player, or you're playing a mid-stack strategy. I think that MSS can work if you mark the players that 3Bet shove and adjust. I didn't I just went back to BSS

Just purchased gold today 2nd February, but why does it say that it ends 28th of February rather than 31st of March?

I suggest that you create a customer support ticket Follow the link then click the beside "Open a new ticket"
Give them all the details you can, such as your username, the date when you purchased gold and so on.

Mods — even super mods — don't have access to members' data, but customer service does.

How come the SSS became impossible?

One of the main principles of short-stacking was buying in with 20BB.
Most rooms made that impossible several years ago.
Another principle was that short-stack strategy was meant for full-ring tables with no more than one other short-stacker at the table. Full-ring still exists at only a few rooms, and I don't even know which ones — PokerStars and 888 have FR NLHE and allow a minimum BI of 40 BB
PartyPoker has FR, but whenever I tried to buy in, it bought in with 100BB. It may be possible to change that, but I did not see how.
GGPoker doesn't seem to have FR tables, and that pretty much exhausts the rooms I can check

What about applying SSS or MSS in live poker?

Give it a try — let us know how it turns out

In the casinos near me, the lowest stakes are $2/$4
If I sit down at a full-ring table with $80 I will curse myself the first time the first time I win an all-in. Rather than see the $80 profit, I'll only see the $320 I "could have had", which is why I moved away from SSS to BSS in the first place. By the time I had sorted out my mental game problems, SSS was a thing of the past.

The introduction training of the SSS says that it is a powerful unbeatable strategy. Why's this the case?

Probably why it got banned
It was unbeatable because it was based solely on math. Yes you could have downswings, but overall, you were pushing hands that had more than 50% equity.
If you won, you left the table, and went to a different one — that little trick (known as rat-holing) has been banned on most sites now also.

SSS was good because even donks that could read charts (myself incl) could print money.

MSS was a bag of 💩

The problem with MSS is that it was easy for savvy opponents to tell what you were up to.
There were raise/fold ranges in the charts, which meant that if you played them as instructed you just threw money away far too often.
Then — as I said earlier — you got a monster, and it held, you win only 60BB instead of 100BB

I am going to apply SSS on live tables around my area's casinos. Min Buy-In is no more than 25BB. I will be rat-holing around. Do you think it's gonna be the equivalent of money printing?

Not likely because it only works with 20BB and if you rat hole often in the same place you'll be targeted outside in the parking lot by angry regs....

Seems to me like you are approaching this wrong btw - looking for a quick buck - poker is not the game for shortcuts.

If you want to make money fast or achieve anything in life you have to work hard (or get extremely lucky)

Sorry to be blunt and all....

At our local casinos ratholing isn't allowed at all.
Neither is violence in the carpark, for that matter
