Villain is a rec that I've played before. Somewhat of a calling station pre, but isn't very sticky unless has a draw and plays sometimes passive and sometimes aggro, likes to show when he folds something big, eg QQ on Kh flop. Bluffs. I don't know if my 3bet size is okay, I know he overcalls with some hands he won't 4bet with. The range I gave V is AT, AJ, AQ, KQ, KJ, QJ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, 77 - I don't know if I can include low suited A2-5 I normally remove these from cold calling range, unless I've seen villain call with these. On the flop I bet bigger as I don't have a :club: and I don't want V to see a cheap turn with one :club: or a pp with a :club:
If V has a set on that flop I expect to get raised 100% of the time, he shouldn't have 33 or 66 (but 2nl I've been stacked by 55) so that leaves 88 and since I don't get raised, I removed these hands from Vs range (yes or no?). If V flop a flush I expect just a call, but since I bet big I might get raised? The turn is a brick imo and I can keep betting for value/protection from pp and hands that have 1 :club: I think when villain shoves and the way he played it the only hand I lose to is a flush and I am flipping against villains FD. Is my thinking through the hand right or still a bit off or I am getting there where ever there is???

Can opponent bluff on a paired board? This is a common tactic for recreationals, but when they do, it is not often for their stack — but if opponent has the flush — or even the A♣: they're not likely to play this way. I'm guessing opponent has A♣::6x:

In this particular case, you have two outs if opponent has the flush — or one if my guess above is correct . If either of your aces was A♣: I would say call, but here I just move on — especially if this is a fast-fold game.

He isn't the type of rec who shows up with A6o, that's why I didn't include it in the range I gave him, ATo is more likely. Now that you mention it, I never considered 6x :facepalm: I'm not sure about A2s-A9s. But V did not have a Ace.

Problem on the turn is that you are committed after you're 80% pot size bet If you would consider to fold. You get insane good odds to call for only 83c to win a pot of $4,26. That makes it also less likely villain will bluff shove with in mind villain should know you never fold anymore. I expect you are need to hit a full house to win. That means you need to hit a 6 or ace to win and that's maximum 4 outs.

If I would play this hand I would Cbet flop and turn a lot smaller. 2/3 pot is already bigger than normal, but than you aren't committed if villain shoves on you.

Yes, I wasn't considering folding, not on the flop if V shoved or on that turn if V shoved.

This would be my normal line, but against a villain like this I like to bet bigger. I still have a lot to work on post flop.
