Hi everybody!
My name is Oleg, I am member of russian pokerstrategy community. I am 30 years old. I am from Urkaine, Zoporizhzhya City.

This blog I will write, becouse I want a little practice of English(as my school teacher said "Practicing English all the time, practicing, practicing, practicing), so its good variant to make blog here. Probably I will often misstakes about same aspects of English(or ALL! ^_^ ), so dont be very strict with me.

I am cash player, playing nl2-nl5 now. I like to play poker only on 2 tables, but have expiriens to play about 24 tables(it was long-long time ago). I cant registering in bankroll chellenge, becouse have no connection PokerStars and Pokerstrategy. This fact making me a little sad.

Trying to write text from my head, don't sure that writing correctly. Sometimes using google translator, if cant remember some word(or if absoulutly dont know earlier). Short - I dont know my level of language skills.

More about me I will write later. Next post: my grafic from pokertracker4(nl2)

Thx a lot! GL all!

This a really good way to practice English for sure. One good way to check to see how well you have done, would be to put the Ukrainian (or Russian) into Google Translate, then compare what you have already written to what they write. Always do it yourself first, then compare. Beware though — Google Translate makes many errors also!

All the best,
VS

You mean, I must write in English, and then put that text into translator for finding misstakes? Or write on Ukrainian first?

Both will work.

I suggest that you write in English in your post.
Next, write in Google Translate in Ukrainian what you want to say.
Then see how Google's version compares to yours. If it is different, ask yourself why — and then find out.
Once you've sorted it out, change your post if you wish.

I am using a site and app called Duolingo to learn Spanish right now, and I sometimes to the same thing.

I have used Duoling for Spanish too, but now interes is gone, and I don't do that.
I lost strike streak, becouse turned off the electricity from time to time becouse War, and I was a little sad, but don't want to keep going learn, at least for now.

But I think, that English much more universal language, big part of humanity has know English in the basic level, that gives possibility to communicate with other humans. BUT! Its not a serious reason to do not learn Spanish too. Not now.

This text I have write by yours recomendations, thx.

In next post I will write about me and the Poker. Or not :f_cool:

My meeting with poker was on resourse like Facebook, it was application. There I played tourney, almost nothing knowed about this game, exept rules and combinations power. One guy write me in the app chat about pokerstrategy, and about 50$ free money from victorine. I fastly read all strategy materials, that must to read for answer the questions in victorine. It was easy to do, and I get this money. It was before Black Friday, and I decide to play in Full Tilt. First time I played very sceary, afraid to lost my money, and after few month not regular games I forget about poker.

But after few years inactivity I decide make comeback. On that time I read many books about strategy and get some advantage in 0.25$ 45-max MTSNG, that I have played about one year. It was easiest to play tourney, becouse tourney playing for chips, not for real money, like in cash. It was 2014-2015 year. After 2015 I was inactivity about 3 years, and after new comback I decide to play Full Ring Cash games.

Fist time I was naturally NIT, and it was hard to won the money with style like this. After one year I decide to play Short tables. It was very hard to adaptation after 100k FR hands. First time I filled like play poker versus angry top-pro regulars ^_^ But after 25k hands all have change - I was not a NIT, closer to LAG or something like that. Short tables is my favourite now, but all strategy teachers have a point of vision, that FR tables most valuable to play, becouse much more fishes there. But for me its not interesting all the time fold 85% of hands and play narrow ranges. So I am playing SH tables now.

I have played nl2. nl5 and nl10 with good results. Now I need to do all that I can for back to nl10, perfectly will playing on nl25-nl50 before 2024 comes. I think, that nl25 I can beat, maybe more higher, but not realy sure. Will see.

Its all for now, thx for reading!

Second time I catch hand like this one in this month. I think, I can push here on the flop against fat fish, next time I do this :)

Dont know, how I mast react, when see donk-bet vs. probably weak reg. All the time I have something, but all the time they have just a little bit better hand. Sad but true. Maybe I need to analize my base in H2N to watch, who and how makes their donk-bets. Against fishes is more easy to play, becouse its happens more often and I have some expiriens.

My biggest problem in poker - its a fact, that I am result-oriented player. All the time I checking my cashier and watching how my session develops. And if I play 2-3 hours and its no money flow in my cashier, I am not tilting in not classical sens of this word, but I fell myself dissapointed. As all we know - Poker is a game with a LARGE luck-factor on the short distance, so my approach is very-very illogical and also useless. If you can give me some advice about it, I will be thankful :)

Thx 4 reading, good luck!

The graph tells you.
From the blue line, it appears that you take quality hands to showdown.
From the red line, it appears that you frequently get others to fold, so you are likely aggressive.
Some of the drops in the red line are large, which indicates that you have sufficient discipline to fold when necessary.

That's how you do it.

Nice graph!

Hi all!

I'll be back soon, but before that, I need to improve my grammar. I don't want to rely too much on Gemini to edit my texts.

Today I watched a video about how people in foreign countries are learning Ukrainian, and it's incredible! It inspired me to boost my English skills. I frequently watch GothamChess, and my listening comprehension is better than ever, but my other skills are quite low, which is unacceptable.

So, I'll learn some basic grammar and then try to post regularly.
