Just finished my session and this two hands just kill my winrate!
The question is, cooler or bad played hands?

First of all, it is always best to put each hand in a separate thread,
If they're linked in some way, put a link to each hand in the other one.
This makes it easier for members to give feedback.

First hand:
QTs is not even in my SB vs MP calling range, let alone 3Bet. Are you using a set of GTO ranges or something?
From there it just gets unlucky that you hit your flush draw, but opponent has better.

Second hand:
Just plain cooler.

In first hand I not 3bet on SB vs open MP QJs but 3bet still better option thand call. Cbet ok with combo draw. Turn I probably bet again it is very hard to get out for action with second nuts when You block some potential Ax spades combination too.

Second hand I fold preflop. I don't like cold call on button hand like 97s. If opponent fold very often to 3bet he can do this here.

1) 3bet is fine. Cbet OTF is fine. OTT terribly played. My god. Enough with the tricky play when you have a big hand. You should cbet the turn. Your opponent will check behind most of the time. You will lose a lot of value long run that way. You are on a big hand you want to build a pot till the river.

2) Fold preflop with this hand. Or 3bet with lesser frequency. As played both bet and check behind will be fine. Board is quite dry, it will be very hard for your opponents to hit something so check behind will be not that bad. As played bigger bet OTT 75%. Your opponent show interest. He has something. As played i am gonna shove OTR

All in all both hands are coolers. But you have mistakes as well

1. Well played, but if villain is aggressive and competent then I think call turn will be a lot better as he will often try to put more pressure on river.

1. Terribly played. There is no reason to use overbet on flop. You will scare Ax, flushdraws also should fold as there is no combodraw possible... Often its better to go for smaller value from looser range of hands. Also you have weak trips - its not likely one of them will wake up with lets say K9s. After that its cooler. You lose to 3 combos of AA and one combo of A9s and he could easily play something like K9/Q9/J9 this way.

For 127bb effective just calling QJs seems not that bad out of position.
I don't want to play a big pot out of position and especially so deep villain would most likely call more often in position.
Post-flop is just a cooler, but I would Cbet turn most of the time as well.

2nd hand I would just fold right away against a min raise of a short stack.
I don't see a point in over betting the flop ether on a pretty dry board.
Half pot is already to much or the villains are really passive. The reast of the hand is standard I think.

Cheers,
