Hi guys,
I'm trying to develop a good strategy to play short (40BB-) in cash game at nl 5,10,25.
The Basic idea is:
- If you play short you don't need a huge bankroll for each level
- You can easily shove pre flop and get called when you're 50%+ most of the time even against "pseudo-reg"
- The people at the table think you're a fish, so you can counter them
- Play more confidently avoiding tilt
I was looking online for some tips on this strategy, but most of the contents recommends to be tight and aggressive. I think, if you play like this, the regs can counter you easily so, to avoid to be countered you must at least play loose and aggressive against weaker player. That way, your stats say something different. The questions I have are:
- Playing 40BB-, what should my 4bet push range look like against a reg who has 3bet 15%? and against 10%? and against 7/8%?
- Playing 40 BB-, what should my 3bet range look like against a reg who has VP/PFR 25+/20+? is it true that I have 3bet quite light (13-15%) considering that calling pocket pair or a suited connector is not EV+ for him to call my 3bet?
- Playing 40 BB-, how do I handle a missed board in a multiway pot where I am the aggressor?
Thank you in advance guys, hoping to find someone is currently playing SSS
