Flop : (33.5 BB, 2 players) 9c Qd Js
Hero bets 9 BB, CO calls 9 BB

Turn : (51.5 BB, 2 players) Tc
Hero bets 13 BB, CO calls 13 BB

River : (77.5 BB, 2 players) 9h
Hero checks, CO bets 76.5 BB,???????

Call or fold
villains opening range from CO is normal 25-28.

flop- is decent hits villain pretty hard, really besides a set of QQ, villain can have some 2 pair, calling pre with J7-77 also suited QJ, all KQ maybe and all AK mixed with 4 bet but we block with AA.

Turn is really bad for us- so I stick with just about a 25% pay bet, I think I little below that, now once the river comes think I need to slow down, I can beat AQ, and that is about it.

river, once I check I feel the jam coming, which it did.

SPOILER I FOLDED. :f_biggrin:

Seems well played I think. You beat only a bluff on the river. I don't think villain will change 2 pair in to a bluff.

I am stubborn about this hand. Check/fold will not be that bad but i think you should bet with some frequency. Yes you are losing to KQ but you might find a call out of QT, QJ, AQ

Maybe, but I don’t believe any of those hands are jamming with a Counter fit pair on the board. They lose to AA KK AK.. they lose to to many hands in my range. Also I could be waiting for a spazzy out as well.

Yes. Those hands are not jamming. They are happy to check behind but might call you a small bet.
